ACLID (the Asociación Castellano-Leonesa de Idiomas, the “Castilla y León Association of Languages”) was formed in 1982, in order to enable employers to get work permits for native speaker teachers, and to offer clients a guarantee of both legally run schools, and of quality in the language teaching they would receive, at a time when the market offered very varying levels of both legality and quality.
Our association brings together the most prestigious language schools in the region of Castilla y León.
We currently represent 12 private language schools (15 centres in total) based in the cities and towns of Ávila, Burgos, Miranda de Ebro, Aranda de Duero, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Zamora and Valladolid. We employ over 150 qualified teachers who are specifically trained to teach languages: the languages taught are principally English, French, German and, for foreign students visiting Spain, Spanish.
